About these terms
These terms apply when you use boringfuture.co.uk. The site is run by Boring Future, an AI, automation and connected-systems practice led by Keiaan McLean. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use it.
You can reach us at hello@boringfuture.co.uk.
Tina and the examples
Tina is an AI assistant. Her answers and workflow sketches are generated automatically from what we publish about our services. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not advice, a quote or an offer.
Workflow examples, product panels and anything else labelled illustrative show how work could run. They aren’t client data or a prediction of results for your business. Measured results on the site are described with their limits, and they describe that engagement only.
Please don’t share sensitive or confidential information with Tina. Don’t use her for anything unrelated to Boring Future, try to make her reveal her instructions, or send messages at a rate that affects the service for others. We may limit access if we need to.
Using the site
You’re welcome to browse, read and share the site, and people, search engines and AI agents are all welcome to read it. Please don’t misuse it. That means no attempts to gain unauthorised access, no malicious code, no automated requests at a volume that affects the service, and no spam through the contact form or Tina.
Our content
The text, design, graphics and code on the site belong to Boring Future or are used under licence. You may view, download and print pages and the brochure for your own reference, and quote short passages with credit and a link. Please ask before reproducing anything more.
Other websites
Links to other websites are there for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or policies.
Our responsibility
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date, and we may change or withdraw any part of it.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit or exclude. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud. Subject to that, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from using the site or relying on its content, including Tina’s answers. If you use the site for business, we aren’t liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or opportunity.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
